Credits pay for AI work inside Nerve. Check the balance and the recorded transaction for a reply or workflow rather than assuming every request costs the same amount.

What uses credits

Nerve AI chat replies and workflow runs use workspace credits. Connecting accounts, using the Prompt library, and preparing a Media planner prompt are different activities from executing an in-app AI task. Nerve’s billing guide describes external Claude and ChatGPT connector use as not consuming Nerve credits. Your assistant’s own subscription and usage rules are separate, and the Nerve workspace still needs the required access or plan.

Review your balance

  1. Open the credits widget in the sidebar.
  2. Under Credits, review total remaining, subscription or trial credits, top-up credits, and the billing period.
  3. Under Transactions, locate the relevant AI agent chat or Workflow run entry.
  4. Compare its time, description, and amount with the task you ran.
Subscription credits are allocated by billing period. Check the reset date and ledger rather than treating them as a permanent balance. The live top-up offer labels purchased credits as never expire.

Buy a top-up

With the appropriate billing role and an active plan, open Buy extra credits, review a pack, and complete the displayed checkout if you intend to buy it. Check the final checkout total and verify the new balance and transaction afterward.

If a run stops or a charge is unclear

Inspect the run details and ledger before retrying. A label such as Credits waived (not charged) applies to that recorded entry; do not infer that every interrupted task is free. Some work may already have completed. For insufficient credits, review the plan, top-up options, and next allocation date. Contact support with the relevant transaction and run details if they do not reconcile. Avoid repeatedly running the same workflow while investigating a charge.
