Connect Google Sheets to read planning data or write a report to a spreadsheet. Name the spreadsheet, worksheet, and range so the assistant works in the intended location.

Before you connect

Use a Google identity with access to the spreadsheet. For writing, confirm edit access and decide whether the task should append new rows or replace existing values.

Connect and verify

  1. In the intended workspace, open Get started > Connect accounts and find Google Sheets.
  2. Choose Connect. If the Pipedream introduction opens, review it before choosing Continue.
  3. Complete the provider sign-in and permission screens for the intended Google account.
  4. Return to Nerve and check the connection status. Use Verify if available.
  5. Ask your assistant to list accessible spreadsheets and worksheets, then confirm the one to use.

What to ask Nerve

Available spreadsheet tools include reading values, finding rows, creating a spreadsheet, appending rows, updating cells, clearing values, and deleting rows. These actions have different effects. Begin by inspecting a small range; approve a destination and write mode before exporting data.

Check scope and limits

A spreadsheet is the file; a worksheet is a tab inside it. A range such as A1:F10 identifies cells within that tab. For repeat exports, define a date or run identifier that lets you spot duplicate rows. Do not request a clear or overwrite when your goal is to add a new reporting period. If the expected account is missing, use connection troubleshooting. For expired access, see Check or reconnect an account.
